On a historic night at BK Arena, thousands of passionate fans from across Rwanda gathered with one shared mission: to rally behind RSSB Tigers in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Season 6 Final.

Among those in attendance were Rwanda’s President, Paul Kagame, and First Lady Jeannette Kagame, who joined the nation in witnessing a landmark moment for Rwandan sports.

In a thrilling contest that kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer, RSSB Tigers displayed remarkable determination, resilience, and team spirit to defeat Angola’s Petro de Luanda 90–88. The hard-fought victory crowned the Rwandan side champions of the BAL Season 6.
